No,he won't use the phrase "Mission Accomplished" when it comes to Iraq.But former Vice President Dick Cheney says it's his opinion that nearly six years after the U.S.-led invasion,the U.S. has accomplished nearly everything it set out to do.Cheney cites a lower level of violence,Iraqi elections and a national constitution.Cheney says the U.S. has succeeded in creating a democratic government in the heart of the Middle East.Cheney says he won't say "Mission Accomplished" because "it triggers reactions we don't need."Cheney also is taking issue with President Barack Obama's pick to be U.S. ambassador to Iraq.Cheney says diplomat Christopher Hill,chief negotiator on North Korea in the Bush administration,lacks experience in the Mideast.Cheney appeared on CNN's "State of the Union."
