Moon and asteroids can be a source of energy and other resources,when Earth’s deposit will come to an end, Russia scientists say.Currently our planet population produces about 20 terawatt of energy every year.In the middle of XXII about 100 terawatt will be produced annually,but we should keep in mind that critical energy level for the Earth is 90 terawatt per year.Russian scientists claim that terrifying signs of environments degradation can already be seen.The solution is our natural satellite – the Moon is rich in mineral resources:silicon,aluminum,iron,titanium,oxygen and hydrogen,as well as helium-3.One lunar “pit” with dimensions of 100x100x10 meters contains tens of thousands of these minerals.As for asteroids,about 10 000 of which with diameter of 1 km and larger are in the near space,one cosmic body has enough iron,covering mankind needs for 5000 years
