According to Mehr news agency,addressing the reporters on Wednesday,Police chief noted:“The murder of Aqa-Soltan is a plotted scenario and has nothing to do with Tehran’s disturbances.” Arash Hejazi is a physician,who has been present in Aqa-Soltan’s murder scene and has stirred controversy about this murder in an interview with foreign media.Police chief went on to say that during the recent disturbances in Tehran,1,032 individuals were detained by the police,with the majority of them currently released.He underlined:“During Tehran’s unrests,theft cases doubled and the community bore the brunt of this lawlessness.Meanwhile,more than 500 policemen were wounded in the recent disturbances.” “In recent unrests,we handled and controlled the disturbances with the least damages inflicted,and defeated the enemies of the Islamic establishment.Meanwhile,after these disturbances,the foreign media submitted and realized that the country is highly stable,safe and secure”,Police chief noted.General Ahmadi-Moqaddam added:“In addition to police,Basij and Ministry of Intelligence have also detained rioters.Throughout Tehran’s riots no policeman was martyred.But,twenty of the rebels were killed.”
